Default My Army Unimog Build

OK- so you guys know about my Army Unimog that I scored at Cruzin RC- if not -It was brand new unmolested-

but after a test run she had problems bc she sat so long( glitches wouldnt drive right) so I stripped it
Bought a Tamiya CC01 Complete chassis from usa1man on RCC and went to town - Cut Chop Rebuild time
What a pain to figure out everything!! I took the chassis completly apart cleaned it regreased the gears locked front and rear and started the build

Here she is cleaned and with the 65t motor and esc- Wheels are HPI and Tires are Highlift

Next I had to cut the fenders to fit around the chassis

Now I had to cut the rear fender chassis to fit the mog ones

Now I used ABS to make the bottom plate for the shell and back

Mock up stage

Temp set up for Electronic placement and battery

Cut Chop and mount the Front- drilling the holes just right takes alot of patience

And here I forgot to take pics of me mounting the rear fenders and how I lined up the front cab to mount on the chassis -sorry

I tried to keep it as stock looking as possible with all the real RC controling I can do-
Winch will work with a TQ3 soon
STOCK

Modified to look Stock

Looking good! You need to get a hold of some Hummer wheels and paint them to finish the look.
