| hilux highlift
I picked up a new hilux a few weeks ago from rustycrawler in a trade.....Ive been working with it for a while and have got everything mocked up and in place at this point. I put an r2 in place of the 3spd, but I am debating on going with another chassis still, I do have a scale clodstall chassis that I paid way to much money for that I can use....anyways it never ends.... It was painted with krylon fusion fire red and then wet sanded to a faded red/orange haze with some white coming though to look as it had been repainted. I also bedlined it last night with krylon fusion textured shimmer, it came out fairly well I think. heres a couple pics.....enjoy |

how did you mount your body to the chassis? I see the screws in the back but am curious about the front cause the hood screw is not there? I have seen this before and just built mine and want to do the same thing. thanks |

I'm liking the invisible drive shafts..Is that part of the "Phantom Crawler"? Are you going to use the stock High Lift drive shafts? Nice Toyota by the way... |

Amazing! It has prompted me to buy a Hilux. What wheel offset are you using on the stock car rims? The truck has a scale width.

Nice how did you get or make those small MC stickers? You need some sliders next. The more I look at these scalers the more want to build one. Especially the yo yo's
