| F-350 Harley Davidson Edition UPDATED PICS
Hey guys, well when my highlift gets in this is what I will be building as a tow rig. Im going to leave it as a reg cab long box because I like the look better. Now just need to find some sutable decals to get the build going. Right now Im looking for a good tire and rim combo. I was thinking these. I will use the stock highlift and lower the body (any tips??). I would like to run 1.9's but I can only find a close tire/rim in 2.2. Last edited by Ax-10Canadian; 06-21-2008 at 10:21 AM. |

I think might go with the hilux wheels, they look close to the real ones and there 1.9's which means I can lower the body a bit.

Well I finally got a hilift coming from TCS and it should be here in the next few weeks. I think for now I will go with hilift hilux rims and tires for the scale look. Im working on the decal right now and so farI have the side and tailgate emblems ready to print and im working on the rocker badge. Mods, can you move this into the 1.9 section please. Got the door badge made up today as well. I dont know if red is the final color yet. |

Finished the chassis tonight. The kit went together really well and was surprisingly easy to build. I also printed out the decals. They are perfectly replicated to the correct size. |

anyone thought of putting the axles over the leaf springs instead of under. This could give it more of a scale appearance with the wheel properly in the wheel well...

I tried, the axles doesn't clear anything. But taking the blocks out from under the leafs will help.

Did somemore work to it today. Dropped in a Novak Goat system, moved the battery under the bed, and put the steering servo up front. Made up a nice 7 cell. |
