truely amazing Good job ,and the video is the cherry on top. I have 56 ford f100 lexan shell, that will be my first attempt at a scaler. This is the inspiration I needed, thanks for the tips ect. A top notch craftsman. |
Another awesome build"thumbsup" I followed your last build and when I saw it in RC Car Action it gave me a overall feeling of satisfaction just knowing I had witnessed it in the making, I can't imagine how it made you feel:lol::lol: Keep up the top-notch work Rick8) by the way, where do you get your velcro? |

I got my velcro at Lowes, in the garden department. This stuff sticks to brick to hold a timer box for a sprinkler system. Quote:

Went to the Nats and while I was there did a little trail ride or two. Some of yall wanted to see the rust come threw. It's starting to show. Looks real good Rick. Lovin the rust!! It was good to meet ya out in Moab man! "thumbsup" |
Hey thats one very nice scaler you've incorporated some great details and it looks like it works the trail well. |
wow that is definately a nice truck. i was just wondering what glue you used to glue the lexan for the drop bed. Im wanting to do a silverado and something else mabe a c-10. but i was also wondering what you used for the metal braces in the bed to "hold" the wood bed. thanks so much |

The metal braces are strips of thin lexan painted up. |
ok thanks so much. ill have to do that.. where did you get the gue? hobby shop or a hardware store? |
looks great! the level of detail is very nice, the wood bed and the shifter boot are awesome! "thumbsup" |

Got some new shoes for the 53 http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...7/DSC02261.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...7/DSC02266.jpg |
Holy hell I had to do a doubble take there for a second I thought it was a 1:1 rig. Those tires do wonders for that truck. |
Nice truck! I too had to do a double take. The first pic looks alot like a 1:1. |
nice rig, i like the scratched paint on the fenders |
I love the paint job on this with the multiple layers. I assume you used a paint specific for lexan. What about the exterior? What kind of paint did you use to get the flat sheen? |
