Thanks alot,It made me feel great,My Dad would have really liked it. My mom thought it was pretty cool.

I got my velcro at Lowes, in the garden department. This stuff sticks to brick to hold a timer box for a sprinkler system.

Hey thats one very nice scaler you've incorporated some great details and it looks like it works the trail well.

wow that is definately a nice truck. i was just wondering what glue you used to glue the lexan for the drop bed. Im wanting to do a silverado and something else mabe a c-10. but i was also wondering what you used for the metal braces in the bed to "hold" the wood bed. thanks so much

The glue I used and it works great was IPS weld-on #16
The metal braces are strips of thin lexan painted up.

I googled laxan glue and order it from IPS.

I put some stuff in the bed, and a jerry can.

Holy hell I had to do a doubble take there for a second I thought it was a 1:1 rig. Those tires do wonders for that truck.

Guerilla 12-07-2008 10:41 PM

Nice truck! I too had to do a double take. The first pic looks alot like a 1:1.

emac 12-07-2008 10:46 PM

nice rig, i like the scratched paint on the fenders

ebbet 12-07-2008 11:17 PM

I love the paint job on this with the multiple layers. I assume you used a paint specific for lexan. What about the exterior? What kind of paint did you use to get the flat sheen?
