Ok 1st, Nice pictures 2nd, nice looking truck and I love all the scale details especially the rust...HOWEVER and not singling you out cause I have seen it done before, but mounting the jerry can on the back of the tail gate is just not very scale. 1st, you wouldnt be able to get to the one latch and 2ndly it would be a PIA to open and close if it would even open and close. Other then that, good looking truck

It's really not fair mocking up Hilift-scaled pumpkins for your 1:1 and passing it off as a scaler!

Great work!

Thanks guys, the rusting agent can be found at any craft store ,it's a two step process that delivers real rust. I never thought about the jerry can tailgate situation though, But the rig is getting either a reign 4 linked chassi or the trail finder. Also am going to waterproof it, any ideas?

Mtronics makes water proof ESCs or you can use one from Pro Boat as well. Stick the receiver in a balloon and I have never bothered water proofing my servos but if it makes you feel better you can throw some sealant around the seams of it

On the servos though I usually use Plastic-Dip.

My dad had a 1:1 just like that when I was a kid (except it was on Buckshots and white wagon wheels).
