I reckon this would look much better if you cut the wheel arches and lowered the body.

I used an industrial strength wheel acid ( for use on real 1:1 cars), normally used for taking baked on brake pad dust off of aluminum wheels... Just so happens it works PERFECTLY for removing anodizing as well..!!! - VERY caustic, yet leaves the aluminum unharmed Last edited by 51WillysJeep; 06-20-2008 at 05:41 PM.

Ok, FINALLY got some more done on the Ole' K5.. I changed the wheels and tires,( went with the MSD's, and Crushers) and ended up going for the "Old School" look ( with the CIRCLE headlights, brushguard, and square KC roof lights..!) This truck crawls great for a scaler, and is a Blast to drive..! Now I'm thinking of doing a full interior, and also having some rock sliders and custom tube bumpers made for it, what do you guys think..?? Anyways, onto the pics..! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Got together with some buddys this morning, and took the K5 wheelin ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Everything was fine, and THEN I came upon This scene..a few young guys and thier vintage Yota flopped over on its side... The driver had half a brain, and a heavy right foot, which resulted in the roll..., Only thing to do, was winch them back over, and get them on thier way..!!! Damn KIDS..!!!! ![]() ![]() I've already started on the interior, and a few other scale items....This ones coming along nicely, and is a blast to wheel..!! Stay tuned..!!!!!
