I reckon this would look much better if you cut the wheel arches and lowered the body.

| I used an industrial strength wheel acid ( for use on real 1:1 cars), normally used for taking baked on brake pad dust off of aluminum wheels... Just so happens it works PERFECTLY for removing anodizing as well..!!! - VERY caustic, yet leaves the aluminum unharmed Unfortunatley, the stuff i use isn't available in stores.( i.e - Industrial Strength) ..so I guess your on your own if you looking for some in the stores, because it won't be the "right" stuff......, however, there were a couple threads done on this subject in the past here i believe.. Oven cleaner was one way, and i think there were a few more over the counter ways to do it... check it out in the "search" section....hope that helps..! I reckon those tricks you have up your sleeve will make this old blazer a real eye popper. |

| Update..!!!
Ok, FINALLY got some more done on the Ole' K5.. I changed the wheels and tires,( went with the MSD's, and Crushers) and ended up going for the "Old School" look ( with the CIRCLE headlights, brushguard, and square KC roof lights..!) This truck crawls great for a scaler, and is a Blast to drive..! Now I'm thinking of doing a full interior, and also having some rock sliders and custom tube bumpers made for it, what do you guys think..?? Anyways, onto the pics..! |

| Went Wheelin....Again..!
Got together with some buddys this morning, and took the K5 wheelin Everything was fine, and THEN I came upon This scene..a few young guys and thier vintage Yota flopped over on its side... The driver had half a brain, and a heavy right foot, which resulted in the roll..., Only thing to do, was winch them back over, and get them on thier way..!!! Damn KIDS..!!!! I've already started on the interior, and a few other scale items....This ones coming along nicely, and is a blast to wheel..!! Stay tuned..!!!!! |
