Last day to vote... And wow thanks for all the votes! Due to the lack of time I had to put into the Jeep I am thrilled to see the results

I'd say the winner is you, seeing how you are the owner of these bad ass rigs

Well, this is very interesting. Here is the way it shakes down...

The winner in Montana on Performance

Microgoat's Scout. With a VERY close second to Nluv's FJ40 build. Then followed by the EtypeR's Jeep build, and DJ's Blazer in last.

Now on to the Apperance

This for me was and still is very hard to decide. I really think Microgoat's Scout was the most complete rig, he used all the parts I sent him and some more from his stash. There is TON of work in the tubing and thus making it a very stout Scout! Now onto the FJ. Well, let's say it could get any closer to the 1:1 version. The truck has so many trick features like the center counsel, lights, and styrene work! Brandon has teased me that his girlfriend actually built it. Either way the truck is got it going on. The jeep was a shorter build time then any. EtypeR recieved it well into the buildoff and still managed to finish it with some serious style. The detail is very nice and overall a pleasure to drive. The Blazer was a blast to run because of the huge pinion installed on it. Overall this truck lacked a few finishing touchs, but performed fine.

Well now it is time. The winner must be announced... (drum roll...)

The First BigBaller Buildoff winner is

Nluvwithxlr8ing's Toyota FJ40...Congrats BRANDON!!! Please PM me with your paypal addy and I will send you the winning $500. Well done Brandon!

Wow!! I won

Thanks Ryan for putting on such a cool buildoff, I have said it countless times but I have to say it again. This was by far the best way to learn, I really pushed myself to try a lot of new things that I wouldn't normally do on my own rigs. Luckily I documented the whole thing so hopefully I was able to teach others as well

I cant wait to see this thing in person again and actually get some wheel time behind it, pretty cool to hear that it worked well in the performance category too. That was my goal the whole time. I hope you are enjoying it Ryan

Cant wait for the next one

Congrats to the other builders too, that Jeep had me really worried! And Stu you are a madman with the working gauge and all the detail work, I almost gave up when I saw some of the stuff you were doing. DJ sorry it didn't work out for you, figured you were sandbaggin

Thanks again for all the support and votes! Those wheels look good on it, I never did get to see it like that

Congrats to you Brandon for your awesome copy of a very cool 1:1 rig. Probably one of the toughest challenges for a scale builder IMO is to build to something that already exists, it has to closely meet all and every detail of the existing example which you did.

Congrats to Mike, Stu and DJ for your efforts as well they were equally awesome and impressive. Every build was fun to follow and learn from, you all set exemplary high examples for the rest of us to to gage ourselves by. You all get high marks for your creativity and craftsmanship thank you for your efforts and sharing your craft with us all in this first of a kind competition.

Finally thanks to you Ryan creating and giving us a new, exciting and very interesting event in the time period leading up to the Tamiya Scale Nationals. IMO it added excitement to that period of time prior to the big event it's timing was perfect. I hope the "BigBaller Build Off" will once again bring us all that same excitement next year prior to the scale Nats.

Congrats B!

It was by far my favorite rig, insanely close to the 1:1.
