Default Finally my Hilux build

Hi guys,
I finally had the chance to start my yota project. Since I saw the amazing Chino Clone I was dreaming of my own Hilux, but I never had enough time for it. Then a few weeks ago I was looking for some parts and after a few hours of searching in boxes i had the parts below:

The first progress pics:

The idea for using the Axial chassis is from a member here on rcc, don't know who but I saw it when I was reading some threads.

I hope you can understand my bad english.

Update!

The body is painted (pics coming later I'll wait until the paint is dry)
I still have to build the links, a front body and battery mount. I think this thing is done tomorrow evening.
Latest pic:

I'm using the OG Revolver Black, I got it from Kaetwo a few months ago and I love it.

I can't wait until I run this truck the first time, that should be some fun.

Looking good and very creative cannibalism of the AX-10 chassis.

Why do I say "Its finished tomorrow"? I had no time to work on this truck yesterday... :-( But now I've got some pics of the truck with missing bodymount and links (the body is almost finished as you can see):

I think the paint is really good for a runner body.

Nice color choice and definite good use of axial chassis parts, I love when people recycle the parts we dont use from kits and make good use of them.

I thought I show you some pics of the almost finished truck. It has leafs now on front and rear and an Axial tranny. I'm still working on the details of the body but I think next week I'll be able to drive this thing. Then I'll start with the custom interior work.

I love the look of that "old school" brown on the yota.

I like everything but the wheels, need some tougher looking wheels. Nice job on detailing the grill, looks awesome.

Thanks guys.
@mike: The rims are for my Ta02 drifter and I use them on the Hilux until I find some nice rims I can afford.
Oh and this rig is running, I finished it yesterday.
Here are some pics of the body and how it looks now: (I'll get some action shots tomorrow)

The last decal is just for fun, I love Axials
