| K2-5 is done... adding another pig to the pen
After seeing all of the War Pigs on here, I decided to build one of my own. Here are the specs: Reign K2-5 chassis TLT axles Axial tranny Holmes Revolver Black Quark 33 Pro Car Tower Pro servo 3 cell lipo Rock Stompers Hummer wheels I'm still working on the scale details. I'll also be adding some tube bumpers and sliders when I get the time. The spare needs to be mounted yet. I'm waiting on some scale parts for the bed. Here are some pics. Awesome looking Pig there! BTW, what links are you using for your 4-link? Great inspiration for the older K2 chassis I have at home just gather dust.

I'm using the kaetwo recommended Traxxas 5318 for links. You'll need four sets. I'm not sure if they'll be correct for the older K2 chassis though. Here is a Link Last edited by onlyinajeepxj; 07-20-2008 at 08:16 PM. |

The rig looks great I have a K2 on the way from a trade I just did. I see where I will be going for a build idea! Can't wait to see it done!

I really like the K2-5 chassis. It fit perfectly. I picked up the cab for $3 from a buddy. A War Pig was the logical choice. |

Yeah man, nice job with that. I built one and like it a lot. I think I'll toss the mini Moabs I made for those tires you got, they look pretty good.

I haven't really tested the tires yet. I don't have them glued, so they keep popping off. I do know they don't hook up at all if they're wet. I have about 3 ounces of weight added to each wheel. I narrowed and star cut the foams. I'll be doing some "testing" over the next few days. |

Add a bunch of tube to it and they'll hook up a better, not great but better.
