Subscribed..! I can't wait to finally get to see her finished... She was a lot of fun to do. think more so because it had to do with a hobby I love since the mid 80's lol. Some of those decals I cut more then once to get just one..!

Good luck with the build she should look awesome..!

Wish I would have bought that body when it was for sale. Lets see what you can do with it.

a few more mock-up shots:

TLT shocks i machined to work as dual-rates:

i'm still gathering parts, so progress will come as the parts do. i want to commend Will (WVB) on his paint/decal work. this body looks awesome. i just hope i can keep everything else up to par...

You know I was thinking after I mailed the FJ out, that if you use masking tape tape off the rear fender flares and use a dremel wheel to cut it off it might work. Perhaps turn down the speed of the dremel so it doesn't melt the plastic...

i thought about doing that... at this point, i think i'm going to tape off the fenderwells and just cut them back. then from there use some styrene to replicate the rear quarter armor incorporated into the bumper:

for wheels, i'm waiting to see what Mayhem Eng. brings to the 1.9 table... and tires will be the 1.9 Rock Crushers seen in the pics. winch will more than likely be a dummy unit. i'll be picking up another body here soon. i'm going to use it as a beater body, as well as use it to mock up everything. once i get that and the axles (on backorder) i can start the frame and really get this project going. stay tuned.

We hope to have a couple different style wheels coming in the next week or so along with some rings.

Thanks for thinking about us. We would welcome any ideas you guys my have on wheels and ring styles as well as offsets.

thanks Mayhem, looking forward to seeing your 1.9 5 Point rings.

haven't started any of the styrene work yet Brandon... actually still need to order all the stuff. should be doing that this week though, so hopefully i'll have a real update this weekend.
