| how to make a skid plate on a cc01
I would like to know how to make a skid plate on the front of my cc01, any pics or advice would help.

Here's my skid plate - didnt cut it at all as mines extends forward. |

can you guys post a few more detailed shots ? or perhaps a link to the build page so others can see the progressive stages of a " how to " i am also lurking to build a XC chassis truck in the months to come. so all ideas help. |

knytemare, looks like your running 2.2, Im running 1.9 mudsilgers i think i would get hangup if i dont get it skid plate behind the front tires.

| At that point in the build I was running 2.2 Geolanders but have switched to 1.9's. Since it does stick forward a little bit it does tend to hang up which is why I'm working on one that has more rearward angle so it slides easier. I'll try and get you a better pic tonight.

hey guys thanks for all the pics and info on the skid plate just got done with mine and it came out very nice. as soon as i figure out how to post pics i'll send them.
