someone else had ask about that as well. cool idea for a cantilever design. would just need short shocks.could use the stock tlt parts to try it .

Think it actually works any better? Looks like the air ride set-up on my buddies truck. He uses it to get more lift out of the suspension.

the cantilever set up allows you to use a shorter shock to get more travel.
1" of shock movment = 2" of axle travel.

I was thinking of doing something like that. I have to think about it a little more.
Just some observations/questions if anyone else has any input
Limiting straps - So that means at static load the shocks are not at rest, they are somewhere mid stroke?
This might be accomplished with internal springs behind the piston (or in front, however you look at it), and external springs acting as they normally do, or just use a shorter spring and adjust the static height that way?
Shock oil weight and dampening will play a big role so you don't get a pogo effect. Solved by the reservoir shocks on the 1:1?
Bump stops.
Is that a disco sway bar for on road? So is there more body roll with this setup? Would torque twist be a problem with this setup?

Just thinking it out so others could offer some input as well.

I think it would work great if you set it up perfect, but i think its just more stuff to go wrong.
