| Project: Trail Teams FJ cruiser
Hi guys, I am new to the crawlers, but not new to R/C. I used to race mod electric trucks and 1/8 buggies. I have started my Axial/ TCS X-trail build already. My plan is to turn it into the Trail Teams FJ cruiser. So far I have: -Axial Ax-10 kit -TCS X trail chassis -HPI stock car wheels -Rock Creeper tires 1.9 -stock Axial shocks with droop setup I am planning on getting different shocks, Maybe the RC4wd scale white shocks. Any input for length or other shocks? I will get some pic fo the progress as soon as I can. |

I should be getting some pics up this weekend. I fabbed up and aluminum front bumper and TIG welded it. Its a similar shape to the ARB bull bar, but without the hoops. Paint will be going on the body tomorrow after I get done sanding/prepping it tonight.

Here is some crappy cell phone pics as teasers. I still need to shorten the rear links and get the rear of the body mounted. I used DupliColor truck bed liner on the rockers and the front bumper. The paint was not 100% dry when i peeled the masking tape off and it peeled some liner with it. I will be touching that up soon. |
