Default Curts D90

I am just getting into scale building, I know a lot of these have been done, but I thought I would post it anyway. I want to build my own chassis but for now she will ride on a hight lift 350...The rack is not finished yet, nor is the push bar. I will be knocking out a bumper and winch this week I hope. Will post more later.
Thanks

Ok, work has gotten in the way..people give you a paycheck and expect you to show up..

Here is the bumper, it is made of 3/4" steel tube and I brazzed 5/32" and 1/8" rod for the pushbar, with primer gray...The rack is almost finished I have to solder one more cross support then add an access ladder. I made the rack a little more narrow then the roof so I have to place the ladder on the side..have not yet figured on its exact location, I am thinking by the driver wheel well, what do all think? the bumper and rack are not done but getting closer.

Those bodies are very nice, but a lot better once you get it broke it with it's first scratch. Nothing like a little bit of rock rash on a high dollar body.

Ok, got the roof rack primered and shot my scratch coat of paint on my body...here are a few pics of the body...bumper and rack to follow.

It is not this bright in real life...once it is complete I will take a few outside pics before it goes to e-bay...I like making em more then running..

Ok, I was not really happy with my first bumper... This one looks more like the one in the picture I am using for a guide, it needs to be cleaned up and painted but you get the idea....

I have made the ladder on the roof rack and completed the pajero kit for the chassis....soon it will be rolling. Will post more pics later.
Let me know what yall think!
What I am trying to build is a Camel Trophy truck, it is not completly scale but pretty close...
