Default 1.9 Rebuild Tuber.....

I picked this little chassis up off a member on here last week. Figured I would start a 1.9 for the new class. Stripped the paint and made aluminum panels and tranny plate for it to start off. Going with TLT axles locked of course. Novak 55-50 and a aluminum Axial tranny. This is where it's at on day 2 of the build. I'll have more up tomorrow....

I was going to start selling them but I didn't get much response off of them? I did the torch that you see and some air tanks......guess people didn't like it as much as I did? Anywho, here are a few more shots for the night....

Yea, I read that......after making the links! It's tough to get a wheelbase that short, at least harder than I thought! 8 1/2" is short! I'm remaking some as I type It has plenty of room to go back Almost done with the whole thing now. I wish my tuber for my LMC would get here already!

I think that's the only prob I have with the new class. 8 1/2" only put's the Losi in that class for now? It will make us think outside the box for sure. More sleepless nights......great

Almost done! Just have to get the steering done. I made some new links and got the wheelbase down to 8 3/4", that's all I can get it down to and keep it looking right? This chassis is great for a 1.9 and a little to small for 2.2. I'm pretty happy with it for what it is and I don't have a crap load of $ in it Here are a few updated picts for those that care

Looks kind of cool now but that brass link/servo mount will last about 30 minutes.

That brass mount is just a mock up piece I'm working on a aluminum mount for it that's a little different than that one Like I said, the steering is the only issue left
