Default C2 TJ "LeMoN HeAd"

Decided last week I should build a new ride for the Oregon vs Washington Comp. Here is my motovator.
BTF Project Scary Canary

Stage 1: Body & Cage

I wanted a different look than the BTF Rollcage

Stage 2: Chassis,Donor and Roller
Home Made Chassis

I have decide to strip my XJ, I was not happy with the way it performed so all electronics, tranny, axles wheels & tires are going to the new TJ platform.

Stage 3: Paint and "Final Assembly"

More items to be installed: Winch, Lights, Accessories. More importantly...Need to see how LEmOn HeAd performs!!!!!

Nice looking rig. I like the colors. Good idea on what I assume is the battery mount just behind the front shock towers.

I like that cage idea, I have seen that b4 similar to yours. really a good lookin TJ you have there
I really like the chassis lines also!
you plan on any sliders, tube work like fenders and such? better armor that bad boy up
came together real fast, looks nice!

i love the way the TJ's perform, all the weight is way down low to fit the body on so its good out the gate, then it just gets better

I see you have big bores, thats a good shock for this rig.

I cant stop changing shocks between BB's, PL scalers, SCX DR's, and turned down creeper shocks... its a never ending battle with setups.

looks like you know what your doing tho! should be a real comper

I have some pics to post shortly. This last Sunday I attended the Oregon vs Washington Scale Comp and took only a couple of pics and some vid.

Thanks. I looking at many cage builds on other scalers and 1:1 TJ's and took some ideas from them and made some on my own. It's real easy to get carried away and keep adding more to it but then the weight comes into factor. I have updated pics that I will upload that have boat sides installed. Not sure if I'm doing any body armor. Big Bores are the only shocks that I have ever used on any of my crawlers so I don't know any different, They work perfect for me.

Nice TJ, what's the wheelbase at? All that work and still a stick pack that's funny, but I was doing the same thing until about a year ago myself. I'm also working on a TJ

My wheel base is a little more than 11.5 I think, I'll have to make a more accurate measurement tonight. Yeah, I'm still doing it old school, I may switch once I am forced to by a new charger, cause my charger doesn't charge Lipo's. Now I'm embarrassed I took my top off..Lol, Good thing I didn't post a pic of my Radio.....
