| My 1.9 blazer project
Well i picked up this 1.9 blazer off racerx on here, it has a custom built chassis with leafs front and rear, tlt axles, looks to be a losi trans. chassis mounted steering servo. I will try to update this thread as i get more done. so far i picked up a set of cac 2.0 utility wheels, i also have a montana scale designs winch coming. i will also be doing a full interior. 1st and 2nd picture is how i got it, then you can see the changes. i still have to add some more bars to the rear cage and do new front and rear bumpers. the body was made to look like it's rusted in spots, has the chevy kink in the hood. and has a clod grill. well some more progress earlier this week, this dam rear bumper is really testing my patients lol., hard to make the small mounts hold them and braze them on. everything is rough now, once all fab is done it will get cleaned up and painted. the rear bumper has a swing down tire carrier which is functional. also got my new rc4wd tomahawk tires, cac 2.0 wheels and cad to chrome hubs. This is what i got done today,Tire carrier and bumper done and mounted, i changed the rear part . Didn't like how tall and pointy it was., gonna try to get the front bumper done tomarrow. |

That kink in the hood sold it for me. I don't think I know anyone that had a older chevy truck that the hood didn't do that. Every time I had the hood open on my truck you had to push the kinks down after you shut it. Cool build, can't wait to see it done. Randy |

Glad you decided to keep the Ol girl! The changes you have made look sick too! I must admit I feel a little sad seeing someone else building on my old truck but it looks killer! I will be watching this for sure. Robb |

Interior is starting out great. One little thing though, I really like the trans flipped around so the area that covers the spur looks like a tranny tunnel. Here is my FJ: I really like your dash What did you start with? |

I did the dash right before the Scale Nats with three layers of hobby foam, bondo and paint. A bunch of shaping and sanding, then I glued the aluminum "instrument cluster" on and a silverado sticker from the sticker sheet. I wanted to do gauges but ran out of time before Montana. |
