| Skyjacker JK Clone
Hello Everyone, I have been getting some help from some of ya'll in the past few weeks and I want to say thanks. I am finally getting started on this thing. Please ignore the Rock Lizards, they will eventually be replaced with 1.9 RC4WD Tomahawks and 5 spoke HPI wheels. This build will be slow so I appologize in advance. Here is what I have so far: The body painted with gold for the flame outlines and masked and ready to be cut and painted. I will be using a WK trans also with a clocked motor plate. Stay tuned for more updates on the paint. I do need one last favor if anyone can help. I need a picture of the painted design on the hood of the Skyjacker JK. I have looked all over the net and cant find a good picture. Did anyone go to the 2006 SEMA show? Thanks, Justin |

Alright guys, I have painted the body and ran into a big snag. When I was removing the clear sticker paper that I was using to mask off the flames for the hood it pealled the paint off that I was trying to mask!! So now I need to redo the hood without messing up the rest of the body. I still have to do the outlines of the flames in gold and the black details on the wipers, etc. I hope you like it, please give any feedback... good or bad. Thanks for Looking, Justin |

| Small Update
Here are a few pictures of the almost finished paint job. The only thing left to do is outline the flames in gold and do the Celtic cross in the center. Here is a picture of the 1:1 hood. Here is the RC. Feel free to comment, good or bad. Thanks, Justin |

I am also going to be using WK axles and 1.9's and was also wondering if they are too wide to tuck under there.

The WK axles are pretty wide but if you get a wheel with a good offset it will work. Justin |

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, i dont have any patience and I have ADD. Just imagine how "fun" it was. Still not happy with it tho. The green isnt dark enough and I didnt double check the door hinges. So now I have to re-coat them in green. Justin |

I think it has turned out ok so far. The more that I look at this the more I want to strip the paint back off and start something different. I dont know tho, what do ya'll think about it? Should I keep going with this or should I start over? Thanks, Justin |
