Send it my way Chris, I'll find some tires for it The Tomahawks dont look to bad on it, to bad there are no 2.2 tomahawks I think those would look killer. So how does the Jeep perform? Last edited by Jester666; 05-03-2009 at 12:49 PM. |

from looking at the 1:1 pics of the rig i think the wheels that came with it and some cut down 2.2 crushers would be the closest to the 1:1

I say shorten the windsheild wiper blades a little. They are a little too long for that size of windsheild. Oh, and go with the new IROKS. The hammers dont look scale on there at all |

Hey Guys- ALL good suggestions, and I appreciate the feedback..! Truth be told, I am still amazed as I really look at this incredible Jeep ( again, G-Crawler did an OUTSTANDING job building this thing..!) however, right from the get go- I was never really crazy about the wheels that came with it.. ( granted however, I CAN totally appreciate the time and effort he put in to re-create them just like on the 1:1, and he did a fantastic job of it..) However, NOW this truck is mine, and I will not be using them just out of personal preference.. I was playing around this afternoon with a few different wheel and tire combos - let me know what ya think..! ( what looks cool, whats only "OK" and what sucks..!) First up - some RC4WD Black wagon wheels with 1.9" Tomahawks.. Set of custom machined 10 hole aluminum rims with RC4WD "Prowler" Tires Same rims with RC4WD Mud Slingers Going WAYY out on a limb here, but what the hell right, its just playin around.. some "Poison Spyder" Mayhem Engineering beadlocks with 1.9" Rock Crushers.. RC4WD 1.9" "Truescale" beadlocks with Rock Crushers And my favorites "at the moment", RC4WD Tomahawks on Integy 8 hole aluminums..( using the 10mm adapters) This is the stance I really seem to like.. What do you guys think..?? I may also eventually have to do something about the body.. ( trust me, I LOVE certian amounts of "body damage") but there are some areas that will be needing attention soon.. ( look at the above pics - drivers door..) the tops of BOTH of the custom half doors have come un-bonded and have not only taken off paint, but in some spots the body filler is/ has already chipped away, exposing the red original color.. ( if left alone, the copper paint will only continue to chip away and look even worse down the road) There are also 2 small cracks in the rear of the body , that will need to be fixed as well... I may decide to re-paint and re-sticker it at some point down the line.. ( but that won't be for a while- if I ever decide to go thru with it..) Time will tell... Me personally I think the beadlocks that came on it and Tomahawks would look the best. If you don't like them I will take them off your hands |

I acually didn't make those tires , a fellow member "Just Zach" on here did. Yes, they are just cut down, not narrowed. |

| LOL- Guess I can't argue with the guy that made the tires.. Your right, I had forgotten about that thin center section that was removed- I just LOVE the way these tires handle, they go over ANYTHING..!
