Got some new wheels this weekend, GH jigsaw 1.9 beadlocks....$66 for a set.http://warcrc.org/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif They usually get mounted with the nut exposed but decided to mount them in reverse....its pretty cool they use scale looking bolts. Just a bit harder to bead, but the flashpoints mounted pretty easy.

Not too much to update, swapped in some Super 300 CVDs and went back to the tango downs. The hummer wheels have too little offset to allow for 8Deg VP hubs and Knuckles to clear the tire. I have some shot with the 8 deg setup later, I had to toss this together for this weekends comp. I can't wait to have zero ackerman in this truck.:D

Here are some poser shots, got my new photo booth setup.:D

Nice!! I just got a set of those wheels... I drilled them
Out to accept 3mm hardware though!! Pita!!! But I think it's easier to assemble.. Tapped the back piece of the Tim to 3mm and drilled the front
Piece to 1/8". They have a very narrow offset though huh? Truck looks good with them on there

I like the those wheels too but the hardware doesn't last very long and the offset is too low for my taste.

Decided to change up the paint color before the 2012 Axial Scale Championship. Went with a Tamiya Metallic Blue.

I also made some quick air tanks from the Wild Willy's driver parts tree.

I added a proline box too but I cut the bottom off...it sat to high I thought.

I didn't have to do too much at all to this rig prior of the 2012 Axial NorthWest Scale Championship event, just touched up the paint. This truck drove pretty well, but after drive my "Mini Me", this truck needs to drop some pounds.:D I finished 18 out of 28 drivers, courses were pretty good and had a lot of fun driving.
