Default what shocks for x-trail?

Hey Guys,

Since there aren't too many rock formations to crawl in my area I've decided to build a scale trail truck. I'm going to use an x-trail chassis to convert my ax-10. I was wondering what shocks to run. I don't want to run droop. I've been looking at rc4wd scale 90 mm shocks (white ones) but I've been reading mixed reviews on them. What do guys think?

Cheers,

Mike

Get the 90mm dual rates, they work well with the porky scale rigs. Here are a couple shots of the FJ scale rig.

I'm thinking about getting into rc rock crawling and this rig makes it easy to see why it looks fun

I ran 90mm dual springs on my xtrail. But since my rig was pretty light, I replaced one spring on each shock with mini-t springs.

i used 110mm dual rates...but I had to make new shock mounts to get the right ride height.

All of my springs have been replaced by mini-t springs. Some stiff ones on the bottom and lighter up top.

Running "JATO" shocks, inside the frame rales. Little big, but work well

I got traxxas bigbores on the front, and hilift on the rear with hilift leave springs. Works good.
