| what shocks for x-trail?
Hey Guys, Since there aren't too many rock formations to crawl in my area I've decided to build a scale trail truck. I'm going to use an x-trail chassis to convert my ax-10. I was wondering what shocks to run. I don't want to run droop. I've been looking at rc4wd scale 90 mm shocks (white ones) but I've been reading mixed reviews on them. What do guys think? Cheers, Mike |

Get the 90mm dual rates, they work well with the porky scale rigs. Here are a couple shots of the FJ scale rig. | |

I ran 90mm dual springs on my xtrail. But since my rig was pretty light, I replaced one spring on each shock with mini-t springs.

i used 110mm dual rates...but I had to make new shock mounts to get the right ride height. |

Running "JATO" shocks, inside the frame rales. Little big, but work well |

I got traxxas bigbores on the front, and hilift on the rear with hilift leave springs. Works good.
