That's a good idea Ryan. I didn't know that the controller would make a difference in power delivery to the winch.

Thanks!

It has significantly increased the pulling power of the winch. It'll lift the truck off the ground now, where as it wouldnt before.

Love this rig and can't wait to see it in Montana this year, Ryan! Just a thought, but have you considered running this rig in Class 1? Seems it's very close to being legal for it. Just sayin'....

I just competed in my first G6 Scale Challenge at Long Beach, WA! SO MUCH FUN! Probably the coolest scale RC event I've been in. Truck did great! The driver? A few mistakes due to the excitement of going fast, and a battery dump at an inopportune time. Cant wait for another one in Montana!

For Montana she gets a new rear bumper, new Silver can, and geared up 2 teeth on the pinion.

The toyota made the latest issue of RCCar Action!

I also won the "Hard Luck" award at the WCC G6 challenge. I burnt up and replaced 2 motors on stage, broke 1 cvd (replaced on stage), cooked a third motor later, and toasted a 4 cell Lipo. Despite my 1 hour+ first stage and mediocre 2nd stage, I pulled off the fastest third stage and managed to place 12th overall out of 60. It's going to get another rebuild soon, and probably a brushless motor...

thanks!

Got some juicy meats in the mail today! Honestly, I have never felt a tire as sticky as these Pitbull 1.9 Rock Beasts! Simply amazing, and just the right size. Bigger than the Flat Iron by a good .4" or so, but not too tall to be 'floppy.' Nice and wide, but not as dramatic as the 2.2's.

Before and After:

First test will be in Goldendale!

Thanks!
