Default ext. cab yota

Well some of you may already know that I was working on a deal with Dready for his custom built yota.
1:1

As of today its on its way to Canada from the U.K.

I'm looking for a new set of tires and have it narrowed it down to two. Rc4wd Rok Lox or Rc4wd Tomahawks.

What do you think? What would be a good tire for this rig? What works/performs well?

I've never had that much luck with the stompers. But I've never tried a set that have been sanded down, does that make a big difference in how they perform?

have you tried SDI directly for the trail docs? I usually buy them directly from him in Spain and shipping to California doesnt cost much and they usually arrive in 7-10 days, as promised.

If the trail doc's don't work out then I would go for the Rok Lox.

Well the body didnt fair to well in the oversea flight, the back of the cab, the side and the interior were cracked. No big deal thats the great thing about styrene it can be fixed with easy ( although I haven't started yet )

Anyways I took some time this weekend to make it a roller again. I gave it a new set of hi-lift axles and some Trail Doc XL's(Thanks to The Real Dogman for the XL's). I'm waiting for my HPI stock car wheels to come in, so for now I have them mounted on a set of hummer rims. I like the look of the Trail Doc on this rig but keep wondering what a set of 1.9 Roc Lox's will look like.

Anyway here are a few pics of it as a roller. Hope you enjoy.

The truck looks good with the Hummer rims, I'd leave those on. I just was on RC4WD and the 1.9 Rok Lox are gonna start shipping on Julyn 3, can't wait. steel beadlocks, Rok Lox and scale hubs would look awesome on your truck. I know that's the combo I'm gonna run.

I'll give the hummer wheels a fair chance, but I do want to see what the stock car rims look like ( once i've tweaked them ).
I want to be wheelin' these bad boys right now, but I have to pay the bills before I can go nuts on the electronics.

Funny you mentioned calling first dibbs.
