project hilux(for the gf)
 

so this is my hilux im makin for the gf, im gonna be using scx axles and this chassis i ordered from tcs, its a prototype scale chassis for the duratrax cc. well i went today to the hobby store and found myself a hilux body. my plans are to shorten the bed an inch and then dove tail it in a tad on the rear, i was thinkion about 3/8 narrower on both sides, well heres a few pictures of what i got done so far. and oh yeah, this is my first scale truck and first hard plastic body so dont be too critical

well last night i was workin on this a little more and got the bed glued back together

thanks guys, i was wondering if anyone here has dovetailed a hard plastic body, if so could you post a pic, and maybe if you had some helpful instructions on how to do it????

Uhmmm, I didn't do this one, I ended up scrapping this project, but I did do it to another one, you can see it here
