| Datsun Mrc
Its been a while since I've been on, and I've been a little busy. I thought I'd share my Losi Mrc scale crawler. It's pretty much done now but I still have some tweeking to do. Losi MRC Duplicate custom chassis modeled after the TCS L trail. Stock shocks in droop Big bear Datsun body. I first bought the TCS L trail proto delryn frame but wasn't quite sold on it. I pretty much copied the frame a little and then added some exrta holes for the shock and four link mounts. I think I need to add some weights to the frame because the rear end pushes the frame up under load and then stays up for a little off load. I think i need some extra weight for traction anyways. |

Thanks. Yea there's only about 105 holes in the chassis. I just wanted a little breathing room. I got the body from my dad. He bought the Big bear truck as a kit at least 20 or so years ago. I think. |

NICE! I had built this Datsun a long time ago with a K2-3s chassis and TLT axles. It was a pretty cool and capable little rig but now with the Losi MRC axles and L Trail chassis and 1.5 wheels and tires coming out, I hope to see a lot more of them! Nice job on yours! Are you keeping the red rings on the wheels? |

I like your datsun. Im not sure yet as far as the rings go. I might stick with them for a bit but I'd like to switch to something else. I have a set of axial 1.9 beadlocks with 1.9 flat irons but the flats are to big. I need to add weights to is as well

The Datsun bodies are pretty cool. They are from the Big Bear which was put out by Tokyo Marui in the mid-late 80s. I bought the Marui Hunter at the time, still have it. I also hope to have a Datsun body for my MRC coming from a friend down south....hope it's rust free! |

I was thinking about building A Datsun truck bodied MRC and I did A search and saw yours and it looks great! My first real RC truck was A Marui Big Bear and I have A shelf queen stock truck and one that's A runner. I have been into Rock crawling for a few years and always wanted to build A truck with A Datsun truck body but none of my chassis I had looked good with the truck body on it. After the MRC came out I thought about it but never went further. Now I am building A real Datsun 510 car for the street to drive daily and thought now is the time to have A Datsun scaler truck to go with my real car. I am deffinately going to build one this winter as soon as I finish my car.
