I started with some 1/2" box tubing that I split into C channel with a die grinder. Then built the frame. I used 3/8" box for the tongue, some 1/2"x1/8" plate for bracing and expanded metal for the floor. Axles are 1/4" heavy walled DOM with RC10 front stub axles plug welded into the DOM tubing. I used HPI buggy front wheels with bronze bushings and some buggy tires. All thats left to do is build fenders and add a tool box.
