Thanks for the kind words guys. Staying to to my word and keeping it simple.
Pretty much done. Body is mounted and all electronics are in. Tazer ESC, Hi Tech Steering servo, Spektrum rec, Integy 35t with 20t pinion. (gonna have a little wheel speed). I ran it on a mostly dead battery for about 2 minutes in the garage. It wheels pretty well. I slapped on a few stickers and screwed down the removable top.

Really the only thing left is to fab up some simple sliders and I may make some front and rear simple wheel wells. Other than that, I am just going to have fun wheelin this one!

I never owned one but a buddy did a long time ago. Pretty cool little suv!

Thanks man! That is the look I was going for.

OK I added a bit more detail painting the overhang for the license plate lights black, and where he side mirrors go as well.

Here are the last pics of this rig before it gets its first off road test drive! I plan on making some sliders up first thing tomorrow before I run it to protect the body a bit!

Ok well this thing looks better in the sun light than on my washing machine!! It wheels great and I had a blast. Mike made a sweet video of it when I was just goofing around with it. It did a fully wheely and some crazy spin move off of a bridge. Maybe he will post it!

Anyway some action and after pics of the slight damage.

First few pics before I hit the trails. Still nice and clean

New sliders!!!! Thanks MIKE!!!! I ran them raw and unpainted. I needed to protect the body a little bit

Color looks good in the sunlight

New sliders working hard!

I just LOVE this pic!!

Sliders at work again. If I didnt put these on there would have been tons of scrapes on the sides!

After. Some minor scrapes and most damage was to rear corners. I may need a rear tube bumper for protection.

After todays run I may build a rear bumper to protect this body a little better.

OK well here is a quick update. I was able to acquire 1 Bruiser Builder Spare wheel so no more Radio Shack spare :(

I painted the sliders and mounted them back up. I painted them Tamiya German Grey to match the lower front valance. Plus there is so much black and green on the truck, I wanted them to stand out a bit more with a different color.

They should. It would be easy for them since the cc-01 kit is already out.

A few pics of it all cleaned up out in the sun.

I had some time to myself yesterday and messed around with a few rigs. I dusted this one off and added a few things.

Front ISUZU emblem!

Some OG MU stickers

More ISUZU stickers and a rear bumper mounted Hi Lift jack

In this pic that spare tire looks HUGE. Must be the angle?

This rig has some sweet tire tuckage! I cant wait to wheel it again.

So this one is mostly done, but I do want to add head light buckets and lenses eventually.

Awesome little rig! Glad to see one of these being built up. I figured most were never to be seen again. Great color choice! All the scale accents look good too!
