This will be my 1.9 build for Montana if I am able to go next year. Well I have been looking for something different so I picked this body up a while back. Here it is before a little hacking. Sitting too high and too short a wheelbase. So I removed the bed and set the nose down below the frame in the front. Next step is trimming the front fenders and mounting the cab to the chassis, then a truggy back half. |

Got the cab back cut out and welded in. worked out really well and seems to be very sturdy. Front bumper mocked up, I need to make mount for front of chassis. Front bumper made by Tim(Warpig) |

That body is a little heavy, but extremely durable.

Glad to see something different. It'll look sweet once the fenders are cut out.

Been a while since I posted here. Update, Tube work is Done, a huge thanks to Tim(War Pig) for doing the tube bed and front bumper on this and for lighting a fire under my butt to get this thing ready for the TTC. Couple pics. |

Still a little to get done, mainly final mounting of body and painting. Need to pick up some flat head screws as well.

Updates as far as performance goes is the Feigo brushless didn't work out for me, It ended up with a 19t Axiom motor, 13/87 gears on Axial trans. CC Sidewinder on 3s lipo from Cheap battery packs (thanks Chris) The setup is Super smooth on the bottom end and has good power. Made a full pull with the sled and has really awesome wheel speed. The rear winch is still not hooked up because I don't have a 4ch radio. I did get second place in the TTC event. I'll update with some better pics of how I mounted the servo winch and the body. |
