| FJ Crusier convertible
well, i was given a FJ Crusier body, tlt axels and a scale chassis from zoso. thanks again I always rushed all my other builds and they never came out how i wanted, but i was always in hurry to crawl. well now im starting over again i have no electronics, no chassis or much of a drive train yet. and as some us r/c'rs not alot of money. so i think this will help slow me down and take my time to turn out awsome. ive been scouring the site looking at scale builds and i havent seen one of theses, thouh i may have missed it if it's out there. i like the you guys are building those GI joe jeeps. Im plan on stealing some of your drive train setup for this build. and i will b posting pics as soon as i can. any suggestions for the trans and transfer case? this is going to have a full interior. so im trying to find the most compact, thanks |

When you are in the album view in photobucket (where you can see about 16 thumbnails of the pics) mouse over the pic you want to post. This pops up a box underneath the pic, with 4 options. Highlight the "IMG CODE" box, and either press CTRL and C, or right click and select "Copy". Then paste the image into the thread with either CTRL and V or right click and select "Paste" Do this for each picture, make sure to have a hard return between pics so they don't clog up in the thread... (Just press ENTER after you paste the links.) Back to topic: I had a new bright FJ body (really cheap plastic, btw) and was trying to do something similar to this, but lost interest, and scrapped the project. I'm interested to see what you do with this. Last edited by monkeyracer; 12-04-2009 at 09:39 AM. |

| stayn warm and dry in the rain finished brazing all the rod and the 1/16 in skid plate mounted the trans drilled and tapped holes in the skid. i think ima need to make a center support and 2 drive pairs of drive shafts in the rear like a yota 1.1. dose anyone have any pics of this? |
