Default My first scaler ROCKY

I have been collecting parts for some time now and watching builds on this site and it has helped out alot and last month I decided to start the build. its been a hard build do to the lack of space and my tools in storage so nothing crazy. this is my first scaler that I pieced together so I hope you guys like it. im no where to the point of being done I still have a lot of stuff I would like to do to it but just waiting on the parts to come in. well enough talk lets get to the

this was my doner

This is one of justins badass chassis http://www.toxicfabrication.com/

This is my little work space that i have next to my side of the bed i dont know how she puts up with me.

Love the chassie justin!!! just had to make a little change so i went to the old shop teacher to cut up some peice of plastic he had laying around.

Well i didnt really want to mount the body with velcro so this is the best way i could figure out to mount the body without holes in it.

This is my favorite color so i decided to use it on my jeep its the same paint thats on my 1/1 nissan hardbody with slight flake and looks amazing in the sun. And i taped the inside off too so when i put interior in, it will look alot better with the tan top

Well my tires and rims came in, so i immediately got to work. The rok lux are huge it changes the whole look, at first i thought they were to big but they start to grow on you. I cant wait to take this out and run it. but i still need a battery and some lock outs for the rear axles. I also 4 linked it and made up some wheel wells out of tupper wares.

I used a stripped out losi mrc servo and soderd the wires where the motor was then to my winch and just plug it into my reciever and and works fine no more pushing a button for direction change

Decided to take the jeep outside to get some better shots of the paint

Arizona scale trail runners

So what do you guys think with the new tires im going to have to redue the sides of my front bumper and the rear but what do you guys think about the mini stinger for the rear bumper do you think i should build a new one? Ill have pics up soon with the new front bumper.

THanks and Ya I think its a little long to but it works really good. I took it off and changed it up a bit but I still have to grind the welds down then paint it.

The jeep is looking great with the new front bumper and rok lox! I especially like that sticker you've got displayed there on the back window!

Look forward to crawling with ya again.
