| My new Stock JK that followed me home.
Here is a shot of my new JK. This is my first scale rig. I just built it to resemble a stock JEEP fresh from the factory for now. ( I wanted to get it dialed in stock like trim first. I will do a bunch of mods on it a little at a time (Just like a real one) Parts list so far. Axial axles and trannsmission from my old RTR that has been sitting around unused for over a year. ( I plan to replace the beat up parts) New Bright JK Body. Diaz JK chassis Some aluminum knuckes (venoms that were sitting around) Bounsline Lockers Crawler Designs outputs Custom made delrin links and cross braces. (Jeepindougs bushings used to make them) Custom Bent Revo push rods/tie rods for lower links (beat up so I may go with delrin but I like the steel ones performance wise on all my other rigs Losi Shocks from a 20 year old LOSI JRT, set up droop ( They look scale with the smooth bodies) Losi MRC Radio/receiver Tekin FXR Axial 1.9 tires/wheels from a Honcho Just about all the parts besides the original RTR truck parts came from you guys the vendors and members (classifieds) of RCC. Making the links Clean body mount (Rear) Hinged front For easy access. Clean electronics Transmission fits really nice thanks to DDAIZ and his chassis. I was going to put in a transfer case to keep from hacking up the interior, but the axiall transmission fits like a glove with this body and chassis. I plan on adding tube bumpers and a winch, fender wells and some scale stuff on the interior. Let me know what you think and what you would like to see on this ride. |

Subscribed for ideas! I've got a Diaz chassis and a couple of JK bodies waiting to be worked on too. Whats that plate you got mounted there?

It is a side plate for an original BERG . I used brass knurled nuts and 3mm bolts mounted to the existing body mounting posts. It also will give me a mounting spot for a light controller or small battery. I am still trying to come up with what bumper I am going to go with, this is an idea of what I am going for just not sure if it will be delrin or steel. |

Here is a shot of the chassis and how the transmission mounts without having to cut up the body. It is the Diaz designed chassis that allows it to be mounted like this. The transmission is shifted to the rear and the spur/slipper fits in the cavity for the front seats and rear cup holders, a lot of thought must have gone into the chassis design. |

I received my custom bumper from Trost and got it mounted up. I am also trying it out with 2.2 and I seem to like it with the larger wheels. |
