| Let's go camping....again (1960's Aloha travel trailer)
As usual this build started by accident. Looking at a pair of Losi Mini Slider tires, a little voice said "you should build an Airstream trailer, that would be really cool." No, it wasn't my scale muse, it was sloppy, damn him. The original idea was a big chunk of foam shaped to the proper Airstream profile, then I remembered how much fun the old slide-in was to build, so I put that on the back burner (I did get two pair of tires) and decided to go for a full-detail build. This is where I'm at after one night of styrene-ing. It's going to be weathered inside and out like a 40-year-old trailer. But I gotta build it first |

wait till the voices start asking for more glue...... looks cool, after checking out the builds on the trailers...I started to think about building a caveman camper like we had when I was a kid...have it slide out and tie down with chains and shocks on the bed attached to the front fenders... cool build, will be watching for sure. |
