Mocked it up just to see how it looks. The front springs should be a little lower when we get done.

Without the body:

I might start a build like this bronco, but first, I will need to wait for my next birthday this August to get an Axial scx-10 to experiment with so I can get an idea of what to use for my bronco build I want to do. I'm also young too! (12 years old)[/QUOTE]

Nice clean looking chassis, should be awesome when you're done. Keep up the good work!

That looks awesome Jake. I really like that color on the 1:10 and the 1:1. You should come over to Georgia when you get it done and do a trail ride with me

Jake, it's looking awesome! My dad used to have an old Bronco as well on 38s with a sweet 302 in it...probably the reason I bought the HPI Bronco body for my crawler But I see you location says "crawlerbama"...where in Alabama are you guys at and where do you crawl? I'm in Tuscaloosa.

Keep up the great work.

Thanks My dads is a 1974 with 35s with a 351 Wenzer The main reason I have a Bronco body too

We mostly crawl at Cherokee Rock Village, Hoover, and Ohatchee. You could go to the alabama section and find out more about the places we crawl

All the teens should get together and go trailing sometime. That would be awesome lol.

Looking forward to more updates Jake! I have really enjoyed this build buddy

Well small update

Got the front lower link mounts almost done Made them out of the same aluminum we used for the chassis

The first one:

Both of them:

Here we have them clamped to the chassis with the links bolted on:

and overall:

Notice how we zip-tied the rear lower..... we were trying to set the ride height
