| Colby's Mounty Hybrid Yota "The huntin truck replica"
So first things first, a buddy of mine some of you may know as salmonfacesalad has this badass toyota pickup, all the nice offroad stuff installed and what not, so I figured I HAD to build a replica of that thing, but couldnt slouch... Heres a picture of the 1:1 I tried to do this with a scx10, but it wasnt cutting it, so I picked this up from Justinart24: I was told this truck was comming with original mounty leafs, which are not bad leafs from what I have heard, but I got it with hi lift leaf springs... which as you can see dont work very well No biggie, I will just have to switch to some rc4wd leafs or something. So, as Im building this beast of a truck, salmonface decides to go get this crazy ass cage built for it, so now I have some work to do... Leave me some hints, suggestions, and critisism. Im new to all this tamyia stuff |

| lol, just as long as you don't build it with the motto, "It'll have to work," Last edited by LR3; 07-29-2010 at 07:06 PM. |

| Like others said, all because your 13, doesn't mean squat. Im 13, I have a axial scx10 honcho, and a 2.2 losi. I can weld, I can even drive semi's (No joke, back them up with 53' box trailers too). |

| What the hell, I might as well join in on the festivities If we're all pretty much the same age . Anyway, nice yota. Which transmission do you plan on using ? A planetary/transfer case setup would probably be great in this rig |

| haha thanks, I do beleive I want to go with a planetary/T case. Ive also thought about 3 speed. I have a wheelyking transmission ive cut almost all the tabs and excess bs off of to make a cool T case, but dont know what to do about a planetary. Dont feel like buying one from RC4WD.
