Default the woody XJ

Goal

base coat of silver and rust under the lexan


adding color

not quite the color I wanted but I like it


New proline floor pan came in

trim all painted.



And where it stands right now..



I need to make up the trim moldings for the wood grain this weekend. and paint the floor pan..

Looks good man, I like it. I was thinking of doing the same thing with my cherokee body but a different color. Where did you get the vinyl if you don't mind. I was going to scour home depot tomorrow....errrr, later today.

I got it off epay. I found some at homedepot but the grain was pretty large. the guy on epay has the smaller grain used on car interiors.

Sweet, thanks for the info about the shelf liner stuff having too large a grain pattern, didn't even think of that.

that is a jeep factory color. Hunter green.. I suppose maybe the sparklys are larger on a scale truck then they would be on the real thing.. But yeah I like it to thanks..

got to work on the trim moldings tonight.. I think the color is pretty close but the flash really seems to bleach it out.



I think I will leave a couple of them missing seems like there is always one either hanging off or gone..
