AMAZING! I just recently ordered my CC01 with the mog body, i've contemplated a scratch built body and I think I may have to look into doing it, your's turned out great, very nice first scratch build. need action shots!

Default Truely inspiring!

I too have trouble believing this is your first build. I could believe it if you have prior modeling experience in a different hobby, like Warhammer 40K, scale models of cars from the store, or scale architecture - like with model railroads.

What blows me away is the attention to detail in the interior! You even put the mesh at the back of the cab!

I've got one video, so far it's just proof that it runs. It's actually still a little fast. Started with a 55T motor but I'll have to find a way to do some gear reduction.

Do it! It's so much more satisfying to end with something you can truly call your own.

Honestly, this is my 3rd styrene project. That said, the first one was a gas can and the second, a bed box for my Tundra. This really is my first scratch body and interior. Knowing what I know now, there's many things I would have done differently.

Thanks for all the comments, I hope to have a day or two of good enough weather to get out to the lake for some proper "desert" sand action shots and video.

For a first attempt at a scratch-built body, you've knocked it out of the park. Excellent job dude.

Perfect body choice for a CC-01 too. It doesn't need mad articulation to look and perform right.

I think it should be sort of fast, it's a rally truck after all...

Looks awesome for first scratch build. It makes me want to build my own scratch body.

I know I know... I need to get it outside. Depending on how tomorrow goes at work, I may be able to hit some trails.
