Default Balln's Land Rover LR3

Well seeing that my nissan hardbody took the plunge off a cliff and broke the back of the truck to shit and my girlfriend got me this body for christmas so it was time to change the body up.

My Nissan

Had to trim the body in some spots where the tires rubbed

Trimmed

When i mount these bodys i like to use the stock mounting brackets or screw holes.

And the rear i had to extend a bit for the body but it worked out great becuase the back over hang will catch on rocks so with it mounted this way it wont hang up and its made out of 16 guage sheet metal.

It is still far from being done but i couldn't resist not running her

I also added some exhuast

More flex than i really want so ill have to add bump stops

More to come

Like the build but are you planning on painting it? Those bodies are nice but the mud is so hideous.

No problem ill prob end up at your place i only have the little rocks above they are fun but get boring real fast they are more for just testing new mods.

The last test drive was short due to my rear drive shaft popped off. So when i got off work i fixed it and installed lights which was real easy the body allready came predrilled for them. So once those where installed i had to clean off the mud on the front lens so i could see. I dont meen to brag but my little nissan crawled like crazy it suprised me and some other people a couple of times. But just wheeling it in the garage on some stuff i think it will do better than the nissan. A couple of times i thought it should have tipped over but it didnt, it just keep on going.
