Default Cherokee Chief

I built and xj when pro line came out with the cherokee body, but I rushed it. Blacked out windows and no real attention to detail. After seeing all the awesome stuff you guys do, well heres my attempt. More of a weekend warrior trail ride rig, not a hard core wheeler. I know show and shine are not big here but oh well. I plan on interior and some other stuff I have seen others do. Its a work in progress so let me know how I am doing.

This looks KILLER!

A friend of mine's son is running one of these bodies, not nearly as "scale" as yours, but I am really starting to enjoy these! Thanks for sharing this as you progress

Thanks. I have lots to do yet like the decals but I havent removed the plastic film on the body because I need to do the interior. As well as a long list of things like mount my winch, put on the rock sliders I got from DH fabrication (bumpers are his design as well),also rear shocks because I went to leaf springs, think I will paint my axles and etc etc...

This thing looks great and the wheels are perfect for a 90's body style rig since they were very popular then, love it!

Head light buckets are from the Tamiya Yj wrangler, they come with the rectangles and a set of rounds also. Got them from rpp hobby. The paint job took me a minute thats for sure..!
