Default Brutus

Started another project...

Cross canyon chassis and transfer case
Axial axles (loaded with super 300's,VP knucks...)
HH motor
MM
5955 servo
VP 1.9 ssz wheels when available
Rc4wd MT tires
CMS
Working steering wheel
Working wipers
Functional tube doors
Drop bed
Team3six scale porn
Some MSD love
Warpig Deer in the headlights/lights
Servo winch with Heyok high voltage no drift switch
And a lot more detail than I have ever put into a scale rig, this is going to be a play toy...maybe

I traded Difuser my mog 2 weeks ago for the brute,he had recently purchased it from Unimoger....
I believe this was the original builders insperation

As Dan recieved it

A few nekkid shots

And he got started on the initial bodywork. The paint was chipping and needed some help so he dug in....

Dan didnt waste anytime cutting it up.
They say the first cut is the hardest.

Much better, shortened wheelbase now appx 12.5 still a little long I think we'll see.

The front is still droop the rear is sprung now. Lotsa GC not sure on that yet.

They say the first cut is the hardest... but the second and third are much easier....

That is pretty much what it looked like when I got it.He did have the beginings of a 4 point cage for the interior.
So I started working on the bed, building a drop bed

and tail gate

added some styrene diamond plate

Just curious, what's the plan to cover the rear shock towers? A tool box or cooler? Perhaps one of the above on one side and a couple modified gas cans on the other to make it appear the bed is solid?

It will have a tool box and fuel cell back there. I am not sure I will cover the shocks completly, but they will be concelled enough so they doent become the focal point.

Looking nice Dev, that GCM setup is pretty slick. I am sure you like the low COG trans mount.

Oh yeah,I wouldnt have even considered a divorced transfer case if it wasnt for the GCM mount.Dang near horizontal driveline to the t-case is also very nice
