|  RC4WD T-Finder
RC4WD T-Finder RTR at a glance: Packaging and unboxing.... hence the shipping label from Hong Kong.. all the kits come from here ;-( not the US!!       boy is this thing stiff.. wow ;-(    Any tips and thoughts, upgrade suggestions regarding the stock shock setup would be greatly appreciated.. Remove the springs from those shocks, measure the length of them, then throw them in the trash. Go to a hardware store that has a good selection of compression/extension springs. Find some softer springs that will fit in your stock shock bodies. They're usually dirt cheap and I've almost always had good luck with finding super-flexy internal or external crawler springs that way (at least at hardware stores here in the US). Or you could just buy a better set of shocks... Hope that helps, and get that thing done!

Thanks a lot.. I actually ended up purchasing these:  hope they work out fine... Will also be using the Clod body for this one, the stock T-Finder body is just a little too dorky looking. and along the way got a Gmade R1 kit, its on sale for $280 right now... |

Exactly, there was no mention about the kit coming from HK. If I would have it delivered to my US home, I would have to pay customs. But since I'm in Europe now, it doesn't matter, I had to pay anyway.. thanks to RC4WD to total value was no where near the actual price, so I didn't pay as much. But this is common practice for all items coming out of HK, that's what I love about them. Not complaining, just a pleasant surprise  |

Actually the problem on the old RC4WD white shocks was not the springs themselves but the entire housing and o rings. I took the springs out and ran the shocks up and down and it was stiff as hell even without the springs, not to mention a little leaky too.
