Default my first build thread, H1 Tow Rig

first off, this build is going to take a while. im in no hurry to finish this build. im in the middle of moving in my new place and completing a couple of other 1:1 builds. i been wanting to build a dually for a while but havent found anything i liked. well the other day i had one of those crazy ideas. been using parts in my parts ben so far. just ideas. the little box is a t-maxx electric box. it will house my reciever and esc and double as a tool box. this is what i came up with..........

ideas and suggestions are welcome. btw, this will be a dually. i may use 1.7 semi wheel, they're on order right now. if i use them, i'll go with 1.55 tires which will make it a 1.55 rig. oh well

Default finally done some more work!

finally got around to workin on the tow rig H1. got my 1.7 aluminum semi wheels, look great too! bought 2 pairs of rear wheels, (8 total wheels) i think only the rears have drive hexs, plus now i have 2 spares for looks. i dont know what im going to do about the front hub cap, the ones i have are too long. i also picked up a rc4wd r2 trans with a dig. i didnt need the dig so im going to use it to disconnect the front axle so it can be two wheel drive and 4 wheel. i picked up the trans, 55t motor and rooster crawler esc off a member here. may need to gear the crap of it but ol' well. i think im going to use the scx10 shocks but idk. they were originally for mock up but i think i like them. well, enough talk. heres the pics!

btw, since im sure im going to use 1.55 tires, im moving it to the 1.55 section. if anyone knows how, please let me know. thanks

Finally got back into my rc crawlers after about 3 years. so here is how the build is progressing. I am thinking of going to a set of RC4WD double trouble wheels and a set of 1.9 boggers for more height. Ignore the battery, its getting moved. set it there to test.

finally got around to arranging the electrics on the chassis. now I need to figure out if I want 1.9 boggers or trepadors on my rc4wd double trouble wheels.

I think it's a RC4WD chassis but not sure which one. Now I need to get some windows for the body, then paint and mount the body. I'm trying to get some help and build a sled so we can do some truck pulls

Finally ordered the boggers, now just waiting on the 10mm spacers for spacing the rear duals so the tires aren't smashed.

Very tough looking rig. That's a lot of beef out back. I love it!

Finally got the 10mm spacers and the black oxid screws. I definantly like the extra 10mm's added between the wheels.

Back on this thing. Moved the electrics around and moved the servo back on the axle. Just waiting on the bec to add in. Also added the plate and hinges for the tilt back body mount.
