Default Stelerzman Jk build with GCM chassis

This is my project build of a jeep JK, i'm using GCM cross canyon chassis and Axial axles.
Here are some of pic's of the chassis i got. This is just the beginning.







This is the first assembly i did on the GCM CC chassis, This thing has so many tuning options.

After a closer look at GCM's website i realized the i mounted the trans upside down..


First complete mock up of the chassis.

After getting the chassis mocked up, i wanted to see how the body sat on it.



Here it is with the axial bumper on.




Here is a great shot of the panhard bar and GCM mount as well.
Also the rc4wd baja claws mounted up.

A little update, here are the BWD vertex 1.9 wheels mounted to the RC4WD MT Baja Claws.


After a got the body mounts figured out i Masked the body for paint.



This is the primer.

Got an update. Here is the chassis. worked on it while paint is drying.

The GCM stuff is real nice, well thought out and quality machining, though I'd change the bumper. IMO they stick out too far and it doesn't really work with a JK. Just my 2 cents. Can't wait to see some video.

Thanks for the input, Im getting the use out of the bumper for now. I am going to change to a metal one after this one serves it purpose.

looks really great but I would get rid of that front bumper, it doesnt go with the body.

You are both right about the bumpers, they are only temporary. I only used them because they were given to me by a friend and didn't have anything else to use.

I just finished making and installing a few things, boat sides and PL light bar with working 5mm led light.
