Hey, as some of you guys might recall i start building a hilux about 2 years ago, i was super into it but kept changing my plans, i got back into it after a year and here is my progress. Glad to say i did all the brazing work after my dad taught me how, im 13. i am going to my hobby shop tommarow to pick up some styrene to start my interior. comments would be apprecitated!

Looks like a very good start. I would scale down the front bumper a little and I dont think that thin piece of styrene is going to be strong enough to support that transfer case and the torque it's going to transfer.

Good start, keep it up!!! Have fun with it and keep it running while you work on it. I know that I keep motivated to finish mine cause I love to crawl it and I love showin off the next thing I got finished at the GTGs.

Nice build, great tube work. I agree with the other poster though I would cut the front bumper back a little bit the stinger may get in your way.

Nice redo!
Like the blue pumpkin covers! Tube work and doors look great!

With a single U-joint at a slight angle from the gearbox to the transfer, you might see a slight pulsing to the motion.

looks familiar, i like it !!!!

you have the same LED kit i got, although i took my front ones out of the holders and carefully split that little plastic part off the leads. i then added a bit more heat shrink to help insulate them.

the rears i used the holders but painted them black to make the tail light bezels.

coming along nicely, you must be proud of it.
