| Hilux Resurrection
Hey, as some of you guys might recall i start building a hilux about 2 years ago, i was super into it but kept changing my plans, i got back into it after a year and here is my progress. Glad to say i did all the brazing work after my dad taught me how, im 13. i am going to my hobby shop tommarow to pick up some styrene to start my interior. comments would be apprecitated! http:// The bumber is pretty big to protect the body and im going to mount a whinch on it http:// http:// |

Looks like a very good start. I would scale down the front bumper a little and I dont think that thin piece of styrene is going to be strong enough to support that transfer case and the torque it's going to transfer.

Good start, keep it up!!! Have fun with it and keep it running while you work on it. I know that I keep motivated to finish mine cause I love to crawl it and I love showin off the next thing I got finished at the GTGs. Matt |

thanks guys, and the styrene transfercase mount has held up for about a year and ahalf:s ithink im going to just kept it untill it breaks |

nice build for 13. what is the white out for on scaler?lol and also the motor does go under the hood.j messing with ya bud. good work. |

the white out is holding up the body, and yea i know but i want to build an interior and the motor gets in the way. /thanks tho!

Hey guys a little update. i got my body set on there and back part of cab is gluded on as well as the grill. i just ordered a proline light bar, tamiya hilux interior and a custom light set that includes 5 white leds for the light bar, 2 white leds with light buckets for the hood, 2 white leds with light buckets for the standard grill lights and 2 red leds with light buckets for the back. super excited! http:// http:// http:// http:// |

Nice build, great tube work. I agree with the other poster though I would cut the front bumper back a little bit the stinger may get in your way.

Nice redo! Like the blue pumpkin covers! Tube work and doors look great! With a single U-joint at a slight angle from the gearbox to the transfer, you might see a slight pulsing to the motion. |

Okay so i painted the tubing gloss black ( looks 10x better) i also got my proline lights! i ordered my lights and will be on the truck soon. i also hid my ESC and my reciver in tractor supply case, its a little big but itll work. tell mw what you think! interior soon! http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// |
