Default Modest 2 Door

I've been working on this off and on for a few months now. I think it's finally reached a point that it actually looks like something and is likely on a path to get finished. I had another JK build that was started and is still very much in the works, but just stalled at the moment. This one is a bit more "Modest." The number one goal for this build is to finish it ;) Other than that, I'd like it to be a not-so-crazy, mildly modified 2-door. Here are some of highlights I've got so far:

- Chassis pretty well complete pending motor/trans placement
- some homemade shocks (simple friction dampers)
- Body work: 4dr to 2dr convert. Top trimmed and tabbed so it's still removable. Fenders chopped and narrowed.
- CA's in stock-ish lengths and locations. Doesn't work that great...YET
- Axial axles with wide Traxxas hexes
- RC4WD Mud Thrashers on HPI wheels

Thank you guys. Yep I made the frame - first one I've ever done (to near completion) too!

You're definitely right. Front and rear track bars are next.

That is correct on the lack of triangled links. You can add a panhard/ drag link bar to maintain a centered axle.

It is a great looking frame/build so far.

That is really cool. It looks like it has the length to even be an LJ, a regular TJ is a little bit shorter. This looks like is going to be great.

But it's not a TJ or even a LJ it's a JK.

Never seen a 2 door JK hardbody before. Very nice! This should come out very nice. Was it hard to get the body lines matched up after you chopped it?

Thanks! -Not terrible. I made careful cuts, and then backed mating parts on one side with tabs so they'd match up. I'll take some more detailed pictures of the bodywork in my next update
