Default Quick Double Cab Toyota Build

Gonna build me another Toyota I reckon.

Started with an old school scaler I bought awhile back.

I kinda wanted to build it up with those parts, but there was an RC4WD explosion in my mailbox.

I put some of the new parts on to see how it looked.

Then I dropped it on the floor and this happened.

I brazed it back together, but it ended up being longer than before.

I scrambled to build a new body to hide my mistake.

And that's where I'm at after day 1.

Damn Rich, like you need a reason to do more styrene work. What did you do, drop the frame on a spinning cutoff wheel? Twice?

Nah, it's been done before. I don't want to get super crazy with this. I just want something fun to drive this time.

Sorry, I have an addiction. I dropped it and it bounced, landed on my chop saw and then a bird flew in and landed on it. It pushed it down and cut it. It also ate my sandwich. True statement.

I don't know and why are you asking this in my thread? No Lexan here.

For me it's measure once, cut 4 or 5 times then measure again and realize I cut it too short. Then repeat that another couple of times. Full hard top like this one.

I've practiced a few times on these

It's a Toyota frame, of course it's brittle.

Maybe if you're a big fat American. It's all good, wait and see.

I'm starting to wonder if people really think I did drop the chassis and break it... You making a Hilux too or something else?
