| Ford Class 1 Build
My eldest didn't want his SCX so... here's my class 1 build. So full size pickup or.... Some kinda flatbed? It's got a full interior and sprung hinged doors. What ya reckon? |

I decided that as I like the original colour and it would be too hard to match it Im gonna do a flatbed on the rear. I might make it a bit longer and I gotta lift it slightly and lean the rear shocks into the centre |

Anyone got pics of how to mount rear shocks so they dont stick up through the floor and still have some flex?

the only other way is to mount them leaning forward. take a look at eric113's build thread of his honcho especially page 9 as it has a couple good pics of how his shocks are mounted and some flex pics. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axial...portals-9.html |

nice looking truck. another way to mount the shocks is to dirl small holes in the cross brace in the chassis and mount the shocks there and they will be angled inward, and it gets a good amount of flex and still handles good. i have done it my scx 10 honcho. Zak |
