Not sure how I missed this, it's a great build just like the CJ6 ! I love the front axle idea, very creative thinking.

That sucks about the windshield crack, have you considered using clear styrene to replace the cracked one?

Thanks Ski...trying to get this one done so I can go back to the CJ6. Problem is, I've got another one already laid down on paper and ready to start. Just too many running through my head.

Thanks...yes I did, but I like the fit of the NB one. I'll just live with it.

Thank you...appreciate the offer for the new windshield. I would love it, just concerned about cracking another one trying to get it in. These are pretty tight fit, besides the one I cracked is only partially cracked, not completely in half. I will just run with it for now, plus you can't see it when it's moving anyway.

Working on the finshing touch's today and will post later tonight, so check back.

Thanks all for your fabulous comments, much appreciated.

Progrees for today...body is up to 99% complete. Need to do the light bar and a couple of little details,
but the body is just about there, so I decided to mock it up on the chassis. I think it looks awesome!

So on to the pics...

I've been lookin real hard at these for this one.

It has crossed my mind, I just want it completed the way it should be first. We'll see.

...and here's what I got from the PO yesterday...

Also started working on the front bumper...I think I need to get some heavy sheets for the lower section. Currently, I'm using .015 but I think I need .025, cause the thinner stuff seems really flimsy. I am going to try to see if my LHWS has some heavier sheets. I have another sheet of .035 but that seems way to heavy for this and bending would be a bear to get it right. Here's my progress so far.

...not really sure how this is going to turn out. Any suggestions...?

Here's what I did today...
Resized the Prowlers and installed the shiny new "shoes".
Here's the tires. The original size on the right(95mm) and the new on the left(85mm).

Here's how they looked with the 1.9s...

...and now.

These new rims are awesome looking, except they widened the look by about 1/4in on each side:banghead:, oh well. That's all for now.
