Not sure how I missed this, it's a great build just like the CJ6 ! I love the front axle idea, very creative thinking. |

That sucks about the windshield crack, have you considered using clear styrene to replace the cracked one?

| Re: Tomb Raider Jeep Rubicon -- 98% -- Thanks... Progrees for today...body is up to 99% complete. Need to do the light bar and a couple of little details, but the body is just about there, so I decided to mock it up on the chassis. I think it looks awesome! So on to the pics... I've been lookin real hard at these for this one. Last edited by 58_Willys; 11-24-2012 at 10:29 PM. |

| Re: Tomb Raider Jeep Rubicon -- 98% -- ...and here's what I got from the PO yesterday... Also started working on the front bumper...I think I need to get some heavy sheets for the lower section. Currently, I'm using .015 but I think I need .025, cause the thinner stuff seems really flimsy. I am going to try to see if my LHWS has some heavier sheets. I have another sheet of .035 but that seems way to heavy for this and bending would be a bear to get it right. Here's my progress so far. ...not really sure how this is going to turn out. Any suggestions...? Last edited by 58_Willys; 11-24-2012 at 10:38 PM. |

Here's what I did today... Resized the Prowlers and installed the shiny new "shoes". Here's the tires. The original size on the right(95mm) and the new on the left(85mm). Here's how they looked with the 1.9s... ...and now. These new rims are awesome looking, except they widened the look by about 1/4in on each side:banghead:, oh well. That's all for now.
