So I have an OLLLLLLD Tamiya TA/01 Hummer laying around, its in fairly good condition, its all complete and I was thinking of making it a 1.9 size crawler/adventure truck. I locked the diffs and threw some 1. 9 crawler wheels and tires on it. I know it has 4 wheel independent suspension so it doesn't flex worth a crap but what the hell...its got sentimental value so Im gonna fix it up. Any one familiar with these trucks or TA/01 chassis? I want longer control arms, shocks and springs and drive shafts. Any one know how to mix and match stuff on these older rigs? It actually wheels fine but it high centers easy. I think it would make a cool, unique little wheeler. |
