I have always loved Brute's so I decided to build a brute body for my SCX so I can swap out the body then the mood fits.

Inspiration:



I used an HPI rubi body and hacked up up. I wanted a true box, so I chopped it off and filled in the back of the cab and bos with thin styrene.



I used some parts from my honcho bed for the drop bed, box rails and headache rack.



Because there were multiple materials and joints I decided to paint it on the outside. BUT I pained it copper on the inside so the scratches come through as rust.

First run out



Didn't like the spare on the back so I move it into the bed and tucked in the bumper. And added a license plate :p



Next run was much better



Annnd I added some pit bulls
