Default project: Black Smoke Rising

Hi, we are a small diesel performance company called Belfast Performance. We are complete newbs when it comes to RC and currently building our first show truck. Here we will document the build for your viewing pleasure.

We went on a shopping spree this weekend and picked up a few things..

  • Two batteries + charger
  • Tools + toolbox
  • Paint & supplies

We are using Metallic Green and Outlaw Black for two tone paint scheme.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently the following on order and waiting to come in:

  • Parma 1/10 '94 Dodge Ram Truck Body PAR10388
  • Decals

Some of the decals that we ordered:

no problem. ive got the first rtr honcho they came out with so i could take some pics and figure out how to post them up for you that way you can see what it will look like and were the extra cuts were needed. it will look diff still cause like i said i bought it for the dingo frame but have since cut it 2 inches shorter for another project that im currently working on.

Whoops, looks like you're going to have to shorten the links up. Can't wait for the final out come looking forward to to some building pics, love Dodge my self, have a 2001 four door Dakota and love it, thinking about doing a Dodge Ram Runner build once I settle in my career.

Like arctichorse said, you might want to shorten up the wheel base. That is going to be one bad A$$ rig when it's done. Do you have any other plans for the truck?

Off to bed, did some more trimming tonight on the body. I am taking my time and its paying off. I will tell you for my first time its a PITA.

I have a lot of respect for everyone on here .. I am not even doing anything major here.. like welding up frames, etc).

Here you go bud, these might help, the Dodge body looks like it's a 11.4" or close to it wheel base, do a measurement before hand, if you're not to savy with fabricating for RC stuff yet, this should help a bit. ;)

FYI, this website is like crack, once you buy from it you'll never stop ordering from it.

I ordered the 313 mm kit, AX30550. Should I have gone with 290mm?
